Soup's On!

It's officially Fall and we are ready for the cooler weather, beautiful tree colors, and soup! The 19th Annual Martin Empty Bowls fundraiser is just under 2 months away, and this year we are happy to say that the soup is back on! After a two-year hiatus, we are returning to the potluck style fundraiser that we love. Once gain we will be able to gather in fellowship and community to enjoy neighbors' soups and stews, lively conversation, handmade bowls, and the shared passion for supporting our neighbors in need.

The fundraiser will be held in the Boling University Center's Ballroom, allowing for more space, more bowls, and more of you! This year's pots are handmade by potters, David McBeth and Jason Woolery, as well as a few students and community volunteers, and the bowl count has already begun! Follow our social media accounts @martinemptybowls for updates, sneak previews of the finished bowls, recipes, and more!

A minimum donation of $15 is asked per bowl, and 100% of the proceeds will once again benefit the WE CARE Ministries' food pantry in Martin, TN. Soup bowls, serving bowls, and empty bowls t-shirts will be available during the event from 11am - 1pm.
